Our Story...
At Cedar Ridge Homes, we started small, about a decade ago building custom designed homes in Lethbridge Alberta. From the beginning, we were focused on building a high quality, unique product, all the while stressing excellent customer service. People took notice, and soon Cedar Ridge grew to over 70 new home starts a year. From starter homes to million dollar estates, commercial buildings, and mulitfamily projects, our company has experience building it all. To date, we have over 150 different home designs in the City of Lethbridge.
Our experience building homes has taught us many things, but the values most important to us never change; build a quality product, build it responsibly, service it well, and all the while represent our company with integrity. As many builders become larger and larger, they find it harder and harder to offer that high level of product and services to their clients. To them, a house becomes less of a home and more of a number on a spreadsheet. At Cedar Ridge Homes, building a quality product and taking care of our clients is most important to us. So important, in fact, that we actively limit the number of custom homes we take on each year. This ensures we have the time to be intimately involved in the building process, to be creative, and to put forward the best product and best experience we can. Our staff has the time to spend with our clients and help them build their dream home.
Our Philosphy...Building Responsibly
Most environmentally responsible builders do not begin by building "Green" projects from the very start. Cedar Ridge Homes was much the same, and our first homes were built with little consideration for the environment. Over the years, however, it became more and more apparent to us (as we watched truck load after truck load of materials being driven off to landfill) that there was a better way to construct homes.
Our company is sincerely interested in efficient and innovative building practices, and have positioned ourselves to be a leader in the industry. We are continually learning, studying the latest in building materials and construction methods. Our goal is to offer our clients the most effective, proven, cutting edge technologies available in responsible housing. Technologies that improve home design, air quality, and water conservation, while at the same time reduce material consumption, energy usage, and environmental impact. These technologies and features enhance the quality of life for all our clients and our community.
